Experience
EDUCATOR
2016 - present
Leah has been a Hair, Makeup, Photography, and Digital Lecturer/Senior Lecturer at a university in the heart of Birmingham for 7 years. Over this time, she has delivered countless academic and practical lectures covering a huge range of topics from historical hair and makeup to photography, Photoshop, and editorial imagery. She has recently also trained with the University of Oxford on their AI Ethics course to support her delivery of specialised lectures on technology in the fashion sector.
INDUSTRY
2013 - present
Leah has vast experience within the hair and makeup industry working for brands such as M&S, ASOS, East End and ZEE TV. Though her specialism is Fashion Editorial, she has also worked in TV applying SFX and prosthetics.
TRAINING
2013 - present
After three years of study Leah gained her Specialist Hair & Media Makeup First Class BA(hons). She then went on to complete a level 7 Post Graduate in Teaching and Learning Vocational Subjects. She is now looking forward to gaining her Masters Degree whilst doing additional training in AI and its ethical use in creative industries.
